View the ReadMe included for a simple, step-by-step install. This is the cleaned/automated \\\"Adrian Dennis\\\" release. (That one had a nasty trojan included, plus poorly written instructions for installing it.) I\\\'ve included a batch file to automated the confusing part, as well as the full manual instructions if you\\\'d rather.

This has been installed and tested on Windows 7 Home/Pro/Ultimate 64-bit. It\\\'s amazing what it can do if you spend just a few minutes training it! I created the torrent, opened my browser, copy/pasted and typed all this text, as well the the process for uploading the torrent... all using it! :-)

Hey, geat upload however I cannot run the program after the install from the desktop shortcut created, I get a box saying windows is configuring it then the box goes and nothing happens.

I think this is because of 2 errors I get right near the end of installation that says DragonNaturallySpeaking.lnk cannot be created on the desktop and another .lnk cannot be made...

I've tried running in admin but still not working, any help?

My batch file merely launches the installer (wrapper.exe) from Dragon. Any install issues are either directly related to their installer, or more likely, your system. As stated, it worked flawlessly for me. It sounds like it may either be a permissions issue, or you have something wrong with your MSI subsystem. Try grabbing the MSI Cleanup Utility (Google it) and see if cleaning up unused items helps. Also grab CCleaner (.com) and let it cleanup your temp files and such, then try again. Do you already have Dragon installed? You should remove any old versions first. It does work, so persevere! :-)

I will get a MSI cleaner now and I already have CCleaner.

Dragon wasn't installed before hand. I have uninstalled it now and will run the MSI cleaner and retry. :~)

Dragon NaturallySpeaking v11.5 ** Cleaned/Automated "Adrian Dennis" Release ** by GuidoZ

I've removed the "Setup.exe" trojan (Fuck you and your website Adrian Dennis!), as well as written a batch file to do the dirty work. (You can see there is no funny business by opening it up in any simple text editor.) To install this, simply double-click "Install by GuidoZ.bat" and follow along. Skip to step 3 below if using the batch file. If you'd rather do it all manually, follow the steps below...

**IMPORTANT NOTE** Do not change the directory structure (rename folders, etc) if using the batch file or else it will break it!

1. Under the "Setup v11.0" folder, go into the "ISSetupPrerequisite" folder, then the "VCRuntime" folder and double-click the correct VCRuntime. (Use the x64 version if you have a 64-bit operating system.)
2. When finished, go back to the "Setup v11.0" folder and launch "Unwrap.exe" (as Administrator if needed) to start the Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 installer.
3. When asked to enter a serial number, use:

K609A-H00-T2D2-AUUZ-NC

4. Click Next,
5. Select the setup type and click next.
6. Click Install.
7. When the install finishes, select "Print registration form", then close off what opens.
- This is better than the "7 days" option, as now it won't bother you again!
8. Uncheck "Yes, Check for program updates" then click Finish.
9. Make sure you're online and start Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11.
10. When asked to activate, select "Activate Now" then "Activate Automatically".
11. When asked to change your serial, use:

A109Z-X00-FJFD-BK5W-P4

12. If ever asked to install an update, cancel it. (We'll do it later.)
13. Once the program is working correctly, close it off.
14. Install the 11.5 update and restart Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
15. One loaded, go to "Tools -> Administrative Settings" and uncheck "Check for product updates at startup".

This installed great with the instructions, no hassle at all. Just have to get a mic to see if it works properly, it doesn't seem to recognize my laptop mic. I don't think it would work too well anyways. Thanks for the great torrent, look forward to using it!

I had a nasty virus while looking for the serial. Thanks for posting the serial here, but I am still getting the error" about.html file is missing" and I have to abort the installation. I looked in the downloaded folder and there is no such file :(

This works perfectly!!!!!! I think one of the best I have used! The ONLY thing I found was the best way to run it was to make all startup items not start. I just went into RUN then used msconfig then unckecked all items. I rebooted my computer and ran everything it everything ran PERFECTLY!!!!!!!!!!! When I got done I did msconfig again and rechecked all items and rebooted again. Just run Guido's install file. Follow the instructions in the readme file exactly and it works perfectly. Great download!! Thank you GuidoZ!!!!!!

I followed the directions in your text file, and everything went well until i got to step 11, "11. When asked to change your serial, use: A109Z-X00-FJFD-BK5W-P4"

It never asked me to change my serial, instead it took me to the "create user profile" screen, including the "Learning mode", all of which went fine.

My problem is that each time I start the program, the "Activate Now" window pops up, and when I click it and the "Activate Automatically" button, it goes online, and a window pops up saying "requesting user key" (or something similar), but it eventually loads and runs fine.

It does the same thing with or without internet access.
1. Did I miss something/do something wrong?
2. Is this "normal operation" ?
3. Should I block internet access when running it ?

HP Pavilion w/Vista x64 SP2, 8 GB ram, AMD 2.3ghz quad core, etc.

Nuance is not going to sit back and allow everyone to download their software for free. They come on piratebay like everyone else to see how their software is being used. All they need to do is write a work around to the serial number provided by Guido.

I see a number of users had trouble installing the program. That is probably being caused by a program conflict or an old Nuance program long removed and forgotten. Before installing this program you need to run the Remover tool to completely uninstall Dragon NaturallySpeaking and any remnants from the registry.

The solution is quite simple and will work until Nuance changes their system again

Instead of "Activate Automatically" button, press the manually activate. Insert the serial # A109Z-X00-FJFD-BK5W-P4 directly and you will no longer get the popup reminder each time you open the program.

PROBLEM!

I downloaded this app first time round 2 months back and it worked absolutely fine. I then had to delete. On re-downloading and trying to install the set-up process closes (an error msg comes up) at the c++ instal phase (ie right at the beginning, or at stage 2 of Guido's instructions).

I have used the link previously posted to delete any remnants lurking of the original nuance download incase of a conflict, and used ccleaner and and a deep virus sweep for good measure.

Still, no dice. Anyone know of any files that may lurk / be imbedded by Nuance un-install software? 64-bit, W7 user. Any ideas / guesses appreciated!

PROBLEM SOLVED.

On the off chance anyone experiences similar issues Nuance removal does remove Dragon Speaking prog, but not C++ from any initial installs.

Therefore when running the auto installer from Guido make sure to select remove c++ first and then install as the instructions and it then works perfectly.

Maybe blindingly obvious to everyone apart from me but thought Id share.

I figured out my problem to error 1721. I already had a previous version of dragon installed and when i tried to install version 11 it told me that it would uninstall the old version. I clicked okay and then I would get the error. My problem was that I had a corrupted installation of the previous version of dragon (due to activation issues). I just repaired the install of the old dragon version, then uninstalled, then installed the new version and it was working just fine. Thanks for the upload!

I get to the part where I start dragon naturally speaking, but then I get this message:

"Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 setup requires elevation. Please run setup.exe from the installation source."

Then all I can do is click "ok" and everything stops.

I have followed all the instructions exactly as stated. Has anyone got any ideas? Please help.

Oh and if anyone else has the same problem, all I did was go to

Control Panel > User Accounts and family safety > User accounts > Change user account control settings.

Then slide the slider down to the bottom. You'll then need to restart the computer. But it works after that.

The file C:\Windowsspeechspeech.dll is version 4.0.4.2109. Naturally Speaking requires version 4.0.4.2512 to run reliably. You may be able to correct this problem by restarting your computer or by reinstalling Naturally Speaking before launching it next time.

My OS is windows xp 64. If I can't get this to install normally on my OS, how do I use insted (it's like orca) to edit the msi. I've never worked with insted or orca and don't know what I'm doing. I made a copy of the msi to work on just in case so I don't mess it up.

Installed on a 32 bit running Windows 7. Got an

"Error 1606. Could not access network location
C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice"

and the install ended unsuccessfully. Turns out when you have an older version of Office you'll get this error. Use the following link to get to the Nuance page that will give you the step-by-step instructions to fix the problem. Basically you backup your registry, add an underscore to the end of a folder name, re-run the Dragon install, and remove the underscore from the registry folder name.

The install ran perfectly once the registry fix was made. Follow the instructions exactly as supplied by GuidoZ, use his batch file, nothin' but net!
